This is a song that I imagine comes from a bunch of kids in a garage figuring out that playing music is something that can become a lifelong full time profession. It's infectious and at its core is a timeless rock track.

First song i ever heard from this band and i was hooked. there was a "failure is not an option" attitude to these guys and it came out in the vox and the guitars. The gaslight anthem's latter day stumbles are not yet visible in this portrait of an american landscape gleaned from the jersey boardwalk

This just sounds like a slightly slower version of the previous Brian Fallon song. Full disclosure: I always new of this band but never listened to any songs. This one isn't likely to change that.
