BUMMMMM BUM BUMMMMM, BUM BUMMM, BUM BUMMMM, BUM BUM BUM BUM BUM. (Repeat)

Hypnotic mid measure start piqued my interest in this song from the onset. The mood the song sets matches the lyrics with a dream like desire to be someone's everything.

In 1936, a band called "The Ink Spots" recorded a song, "Into Each Life, Some Rain Must Fall", and even that melancholy melody, written and recorded towards the latter part of the Great Depression and a good 30 years before segregation was governmentally and officially recinded, even that song's lyrics and sentiment was less depressing than this song. Asked recently, known melodramatic artist Bon Iver (pronounced Bone Eee-vhar) said, "...shit man, that Empty Bottle song is pretty depressing".
