Solid rock track here, but I feel like there is a lot of waiting around for a chorus that is just okay. The snare work, while only a simple syncopated rhythm, really does it for me.

the quiet loud dichotomy is where this song takes it to the next level with a chorus you can belt out.

While sometimes posing as the evolution of "Jessie's Girl" in an ill-fitting 2017 suit, it then meanders into a hook that only Dawson's Creek could hold. Still, a good listen while driving down the PCH on a late summer afternoon. (Shout out small college in southern Cali radio!)
